Looking to connect IRL?

We're running a number of in-person events; both regularly and ad-hoc.

The Writing Room

A designated, warm and safe space purely for writing. Whether you're writing for work, education or pleasure (or a mix of all three); you're welcome to drop in and spend some time writing. The Writing Room thrives off autonomy, it's a non-structured writing space so you can focus on what you want to do. Whether you want to bounce ideas off of other creatives or sit with your headphones in and bash out 3000 words, this is the space for you. Although the sessions are non-structured, writing prompts and guides will be provided to those who want them. Aisha can also be an accountability partner for anyone who has a project with a deadline.

She Speaks, She Dances

Join us for an exploration of writing, poetry, and dance in our dynamic workshop 'SheSpeaks, SheDances'. This unique event invites participants of all backgrounds and skill levels to discover the powerful synergy between two expressive art forms.

This workshop offers a blend of creative writing and choreography designed to unlock your imagination, confidence and creativity. You don't have to be a writer or poet to reap the benefits of this transformative workshop.

Aisha will be co-hosting this event with Kirsten, director of the Tees Women Poets and Nici, founder of ConfiDance, on the 12th May.

The workshop will consist of writing and dancing to boost confidence in our bodies and our words - two of the most empowering things we have as women. We'll be setting poetic positive intentions, gratitude and mantras.

With choreography created by ConfiDance, the synergy of movement and rhythm becomes an empowering experience, instilling a profound sense of self-assurance and leaving dancers feeling uplifted, inspired, and truly confident in their own skin, embracing the beauty of their own unique forms.

Whether you're seeking to enhance your creative skills, connect with like-minded individuals, or simply explore the beauty of poetry and dance, this workshop promises to ignite your imagination and leave you inspired.
